Dramatic Entrance

Topping a nine-metre-high hill, Ani Villa Dikwella is composed of separate pavilions hidden within the topography, half dug in, with only their silver grey roofs visible in the lush canopy of green. Blurring the lines of interiors versus exteriors, the pavilions extend out to the terrace and include pool decks that face the vast ocean. Meanwhile the accommodation reflects the local culture with simple materials, natural colours and strong textures.
