Sweet Charity

Writer Véronique Lo | September 6, 2016

This autumn, those with a sweet tooth will have a very good reason to indulge – from September to November, dozens of restaurants in Hong Kong are taking part in the Pink Desserts campaign to raise funds for the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry. The organisation helps offer underserved high-risk families free genetic testing, counselling services and preventative measures. Participating restaurants, including the like of 2/3 Dolci, The Royal Garden’s Fine Foods, The Peninsula and Restaurant Petrus of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, have created scrumptious desserts in pink and will donate part of or all proceeds to the Registry.
